Collage
In this piece, I made a collage of my view from the ferry I take every day to school. It always has amazing views whether it's in the morning or in the afternoon. It always has amazing sunsets and sunrises. This, in turn, made me want to portray my view of the sunset with an extra twist. Since I used pieces from a polar ice cap from a magazine, I added penguins as well.

This piece was inspired by my culture from Mexico and it's beauty, however I also wanted to show the ugly side of my culture and that was heart disease. I did this by combining a diseased heart with a skull from Dia de Los Muertos.

In this piece, I wanted to show the feeling of winning in a Formula 1 race and the emotions that come with it. To make the viewer feel a sense of winning, I used primarily warm colors and less cold colors. I used some abstract techniques to make the driver indistinguishable.

In this art piece, I showed the five senses that we feel as human beings. I wanted to show them in a sort of picnic esq theme. For example, there is a cup of coffee and a phone with earbuds connected to them. next to those, there is a candle with all of the items on top of a table. This piece was a little challenging because I had to make it look like there was one light source and had to show it.

This piece was inspired by my love of Formula 1. This black pen on paper shows a Formula 1 car that has been in a wreck. As a result, they do not finish the race and fail to achieve their goals of either finishing the race or winning it. It symbolizes that even though things may be very bad one day, they can always better another.
